EVOLTUION "RETAINER READY" FITTING SYSTEM

The Evolution Retainer is designed such that it can be integrated with any type of tubing connection. Add Retainer matching threads to a standard bag port, for example, and you have a Retainer Ready bag port. The same goes for any conceivable tubing connection. Evolution Retainers also work with the EvolutionFitting System which integrates connections for 2D and 3D bioprocess bags.

RETAINER DESIGN

The Evolution Retainer is designed to be threaded onto a Retainer Ready Tube fitting and locked in place for a secure fit. The Evolution Retainer includes an anti-rotational feature that ensures it can rotate in one direction only. It also includes a locking feature to ensure that the Retainer cannot be removed.

EVOLUTION "RETAINER READY" FITTINGS

Evolution Retainer Ready fittings are available in a wide variety of configurations and sizes. Crosses,
Tees and Wyes come in 1/8”, 1/4” and 3/8” sizes. Since the design is completely scalable, smaller or
larger sizes are straightforward to tool up.

EVOLUTION SYSTEM ASSEMBLY PROCESS

1. Select fitting

2. Insert fitting in bag canoe until it stops 

3. Rotate fitting 1/4 turn to lock in place

4. Add Dust Cap to tube connector if needed
